Foundry Watches was built on a simple conviction: that a timepiece should outlast the moment it was bought for, and grow more honest with every year it's worn. What follows is the story of how we build that conviction into steel, glass, and motion.

Ref. 1 — Beginning

A workshop, a deadline, and a stubborn idea.

Foundry began in a rented workshop with three watchmakers who agreed on very little except one thing: most modern watches were being designed to be replaced, not repaired. We set out to build the opposite.

We build for the decade, not the season.

Every Foundry piece is designed against a longer horizon than the trend cycle. We choose movements, cases, and materials for how they age, not just how they photograph on day one.

Restraint is a design decision.

Nothing appears on a Foundry dial that hasn't earned its place. Every line, index, and proportion is weighed against a single question: does this help you tell the time, or does it just fill space?

Ref. 4 — Craftsmanship

Built by hands, checked by hands.

Each movement passes through the same watchmaker's bench for regulation and final inspection. Machines cut with precision; people decide when a piece is actually ready.

A watch is the only machine most people will wear for the rest of their life. That is not a small responsibility.
